The Pentagon and FBI also came under fire

Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, was one of many X users who denounced the NSA, tweeting a statement over the weekend in celebration of Pride Month.
“Spiritual wickedness in high places. Our government blesses sin with taxpayer money,” Graham tweeted.
“Our theme for Pride Month, ‘Progressing Pride,’ recognizes that true progress is a journey. We are committed to creating a workplace where members of the LGBTQIA+ community can thrive authentically and are empowered to bring their whole selves to work,” the NSA tweeted.

Others, including General Mike Flynn, condemned the NSA’s pride post. General Flynn tweeted, “This taxpayer funded organization should only fly one flag – the American Flag. End of story! Do your job and [expletive] It’s politically correct. It’s not only killing our country, it’s killing our soldiers and our allies.”
“Why our [government] Taking a stand that goes against biblical values? It’s unconstitutional and it’s evil. I condemn it. [with] “It’s everything I have inside me,” tweeted author Eric Metaxas.
“The National Security Agency has signaled a commitment to LGBTQ policies that essentially go against the core tenets of the country’s major religion. This is no small matter,” Daily Wire reporter Megan Basham wrote.
The Pentagon also drew criticism from some X users for a similar post supporting Pride Month, including military veterans and their descendants who expressed disillusionment with the federal government pursuing policies that go against their beliefs.
“Pride Month is a time to come together to celebrate the contributions of LGBTQ+ service members,” the Pentagon tweeted. “We are committed to ensuring and promoting an atmosphere of dignity and respect for all civilian and military members.”

The official X account for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, retweeted the Pentagon’s post, writing, “Happy #PrideMonth! Let’s celebrate the LGBTQ+ service members in military medicine who have made history and paved the way for progress and equality with their courage and dedication.”
“If anyone is wondering why they keep posting this even though we all hate it, it’s because it’s a shaming tactic from the administration,” journalist Peter Dabrowska tweeted. “They know we can’t do anything about it, so they’re giving us the middle finger.”
“I can’t believe my grandfathers fought for this,” Dabrowska wrote in another tweet.
“How can this happen? Our military is flying the flag of a homosexual religion? Yet we are reliably told by some of the best evangelical political thinkers that the real threat in America is Christianity as a state religion,” author William Wolff tweeted.
“Hey, [House GOP], [DoD] “The Department of Public Affairs needs budget cuts,” tweeted Republican Rep. Brian Harrison of Texas.
“The destruction of the Christian values on which our civilization was built takes far greater priority than retention or recruitment,” tweeted Michael Cassidy, a U.S. Navy veteran who is charged with toppling a devil statue at the Iowa State Capitol in December.
Freedom of Information Act documents recently obtained by Judicial Watch and CatholicVote.org reveal that the U.S. Air Force has used taxpayer money to promote drag shows, drag queen story hours, and other LGBT pride events for service members and their children.
A Pew Research Center survey released earlier this year found that more adults under the age of 30 believe the U.S. military has a negative impact (53%) than a positive impact (43%).
The FBI also drew negative reactions to a pride tweet that read, “At #FBI, we know that diversity makes us stronger. During #PrideMonth, the FBI celebrates the contributions of our #LGBTQIA+ colleagues to our country and our mission.”

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, one of many who criticized the FBI tweet, wrote: “There is absolutely no evidence that diversity, as exhibited in sexual preferences or desires, makes anyone or anything ‘stronger’ or more professional, competent, or compassionate. To claim otherwise is ignorant, deceitful, or delusional.”
“The claim that ability itself is predicted by group membership is exactly the claim that racists have always made,” Peterson added.
“So as you push the DIE agenda, don’t think you’re supporting inclusivity, or being compassionate, or being an ally, or describing yourself in any self-serving terms. You are quite the opposite, and that fact will hit you fast and ferociously.”
