Rajinikanth left Chennai after visiting the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi and arrived in Dehradun, Uttarakhand to begin his pilgrimage. The legendary actor spoke about his spiritual journey to ANI at the Dehradun airport.
Rajinikanth told ANI, “Every year I have had a new experience and have undertaken many spiritual journeys. I believe that this time too I will have a new experience.”
The “Lal Salaam” actor further explained how important these journeys are to him. “The whole world needs spirituality. It is important for every human being. Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquility and fundamentally it means having faith in God,” he concluded.

Rajinikanth was previously awarded a Golden Visa by the UAE’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. A video is currently going viral on social media in which the ‘Jailer’ actor expresses his gratitude to the Abu Dhabi government and Lulu Group Chairman and Managing Director MA Yusuf Ali. The actor also visited the popular Abu Dhabi temple during his latest trip.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajinikanth recently wrapped up the shooting of TJ Gnanavelu’s ‘Vettaiyan’, which is scheduled to hit theatres in October 2024. Rajinikanth will soon begin shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Coolie’.
