Fondly known as “Pastor Daji” to his legion of devotees, spiritual leader Kamlesh Patel, who is also the chairman of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission and a guide for spiritual abundance, is on a two-month tour from Dubai to Atlanta in the US.
During his visit to Dubai last week, he was given a warm welcome with respect and love at the Dubai Heartfulness Centre.
The event was attended by a number of dignitaries and special guests, including renowned Indian film director, actor and Academy Award winner Shekhar Kapur, Ahmad Ibrahim Busherin, Head of Community Events at Dubai Sports Council, Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre, Eisa Mohammed Al Bastaki, President of Dubai University, endurance runner and Athletics Federation board member Rashid Butti Al Qubaisi, former CEO of Du Cab Hassan Omer and Toraya Al Awadhi Owner of Al Awadhi Group.
A live demonstration of the Bright Minds programme wowed guests, and Reverend Daji explained the benefits of the programme and encouraged UAE dignitaries to further promote it, whilst highlighting the importance of starting training at a young age.
Rev. Daaji also led a group meditation session for around 500 chartered accountants and later delivered an enlightening talk on the practical application of meditation in everyday life. He spoke about the value of investing in “spiritual wealth” and how it can benefit an individual.
He discussed wealth management, health, and happiness in the context of stewardship over God, our ultimate Master.
Daaji stressed the importance of taking important business decisions in a calm and collected state and emphasised the value of peace of mind when making important professional choices.
In his insightful interview with Shekhar Kapur, Reverend Daji explored profound philosophical and spiritual concepts such as the nature of consciousness, creativity and the idea that nothingness is the mother of consciousness. This deep discussion took the audience into a meditative state, enriching their engagement and mindful personal practice.
To mark International Mother’s Day, Pastor Daaji shared a video message highlighting the importance of responding to a mother’s love.
On the last day of his visit to Dubai, Rev. Daji posed some thought-provoking questions to his audience: “What do you do in a state like Samadhi? What comes next? Why is there a hierarchy of mental states that we are bestowed with?” These questions formed the basis for an in-depth and interactive Q&A session. He also spoke about how meditation helps us become better human beings.
Reverend Daaji’s tour continued across Europe, with stops in Paris and London, and he has now arrived in the US for a programme with the Telugu Society of America.
Daaji has a deep interest in spirituality and environmental conservation. As the fourth in the lineage of Raja Yoga Masters of the Sahaj Marg system, Daaji’s spiritual guidance goes far beyond traditional boundaries.
In January 2023, Daaji was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian award, in recognition of his transformative impact on the field of spirituality.
