HealTree will be conducting Third Thursday Time Out Group Acupuncture for Stress Reduction with Lauren Mund as instructor on June 20, July 18 and Aug. 15 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at 1632 Savannah Road, Suite 10, Lewes.

According to ancient Chinese medicine and more modern European auricular acupuncture, a person’s ears represent the entire body. Ancient and modern acupuncture have been used to activate acupuncture points in the ears to reduce pain and stress throughout the body. Stimulating acupuncture points in the ears creates space between thoughts, emotions and actions, paving the way for changing mind and body habits.
During the one-hour session, participants will receive group acupuncture in the ears. Acupuncture is done using seeds/pellets or needles that do not pierce the skin. We ask that you make a donation of whatever amount you can, ranging from $5 to $40.
Mando began practicing acupuncture in New York in 2009 after graduating from the Five Elements Acupuncture Academy in Gainesville, Florida. She is licensed in Delaware and New York and is certified in Oriental Medicine through the National Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Certification. She practices various styles of acupuncture including Five Elements, Balance Technique, Master Tung and Auricular Acupuncture. Mando has a background in massage therapy and has experience working with musculoskeletal issues and pain management for people with chronic back, neck and shoulder pain. Mando believes awareness is the key to better health.
