May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. It’s the perfect time to reflect and celebrate the experiences of the AANHPI community, which is incredibly diverse and encompasses a variety of cultures, traditions and practices. Social media is a great way for AANHPI voices to be heard, and many prominent AANHPI influencers are working to showcase their cultures and create amazing content, especially in the health field.

Wellness content can quickly become harmful, which is why it’s even more important to follow a variety of influencers who can help you improve your health without contributing to the wellness industry’s tendency to hide or ignore other people’s perspectives. Looking at different personal wellness routines, rituals, and practices can help you understand what to incorporate into your own life and where popular practices come from (like gua sha and other wellness and beauty trends that originate from Asian cultures).

Wellness isn’t about looking a certain way, it’s about feeling healthy, healthy, and confident. Diverse representation of wellness is crucial to a more well-rounded perspective on wellness, so start following these eight AANHPI wellness influencers today! They’re amazing people.
