PM Modi is scheduled to visit Kanyakumari from May 30 to June 1. During his visit, he will pay obeisance at the rock memorial and meditate at Dhyan Mandapam, the same place where Swami Vivekananda once meditated. After the final phase of election campaigning, his visit to Kanyakumari this time is for a spiritual sojourn and has no political function. After finishing his election campaign, the PM often goes on spiritual journeys. In 2019, he visited Kedarnath and in 2014, he visited Shivaji’s Pratapagarh. Lifestyle and Health
Due to biological differences and gender inequality, women may be more vulnerable to various diseases and infections than men. According to the WHO, globally, adolescent girls and young women are at twice the risk of HIV infection compared to boys and young men. This higher HIV risk is associated with unsafe and often unwanted forced sexual practices. During pregnancy, malaria, HIV, and tuberculosis can all pose significant risks to pregnant women, fetuses, and newborns. To spread awareness about women’s health, May 28th is observed every year as International Day of Action for Women’s Health. In 1987, during the International Conference on Women’s Health in Costa Rica, the Latin American and Caribbean Women’s Health Network (LACWHN) proposed to celebrate this day. Digging deeper
