Natural Grocers has joined the effort to help Coloradans prioritize their health and wellness.
Based in Colorado Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage Inc. For the second year in a row, the state is showing its love for its hometown by taking part in a statewide initiative aimed at helping state residents stay healthy.
The Ready. Set. CO program was launched by Colorado-based nonprofit health system UCHealth after the state experienced blunders on a variety of health metrics. As part of the program, more than 50 organizations and nine Colorado sports teams provide participants with information and resources to help improve their health and well-being.
Natural Grocers will provide healthy recipes on the Ready. Set. CO website and will work with the program’s team throughout the year to support local events and contests. Additionally, Natural Grocers and UCHealth will be attending the Outside Festival at Denver’s Civic Center Park to promote the initiative and raise awareness of how participants can develop healthy habits.
