Karla Santana in workout gear shows off her exercise routine

Karla Santana is an actress and writer from El Paso, Texas. Earlier this month, she worked out at a Pilates studio. Santana shared a workout video on Instagram on May 8. In the video, she can be seen stretching and exercising on the reformer. Santana captioned the post, “My motherfuckers are on vacation.” How does she stay healthy? Check out the five ways Cara Santana stays in shape and the photos that prove it works.

As you can see from her Instagram videos, Santana likes to do Pilates to stay in shape. Cleveland Clinic He states that Pilates has many benefits: “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it looks different from other strength training exercises you may be familiar with. Pilates focuses on improving muscle tone rather than building muscle, but the results are the same – improved stability and endurance. Pilates won’t make you bulkier – rather, it’s designed to give you a longer, leaner figure. Still, it will build a strong physical foundation for strength-building activities and reduce the chance of injury.”

Santana shared the secret to his health in an interview. Female FitnessThe biggest tip, she says, is to get enough sleep. “The more tired you are, the more your eating habits go haywire and the less energy you have to exercise,” Santana explained. “I’m a big believer in sleep and I always sleep eight hours while I’m working, so I think sleep is a big factor. If you’re well-rested, you’re not going to crave sugar or carbs, so sleep is super important.”

Santana likes to do a variety of things to stay in shape. “I like to feel pushed, but not overwhelmed at the end of the workout,” she tells Women’s Fitness magazine. “It’s about finding the balance between pushing and knowing what my body can tolerate. That means a mix of fun, fast-paced anabolic and anaerobic exercise. I like to mix in exercise that’s fun and exciting.”“

Santana told Women Fitness that she always warms up, and one thing she always does is stretch. “I usually stretch after I work out, which helps reduce stiffness and pain. Sometimes, if I’ve really worked hard, I stretch before I work out.” Mayo Clinic state, “Research has shown that stretching helps improve flexibility, which in turn increases your joint range of motion. Improved flexibility can: Improve performance in physical activities; Reduce the risk of injury; Allow your joints to move through their full range of motion; Increase blood flow to your muscles; Allow your muscles to function most effectively; Improve your ability to carry out everyday activities.”

Santana is a sobriety and mental health advocate, something she talks about in her caption.
