customer,
This is to create awareness about the problem of stray dogs at Karnataka Government Ayurvedic Hi-Tech Hospital, Brindavan Extension, KRS Road, Mysore.
Recently, I visited the hospital for treatment and was advised by senior physician Dr. Roopa L Gowda to stay in the hospital for eight days for Panchakarma treatment.
“Being a local resident, I parked my two-wheeler in the hospital parking lot. The next day, I found the seat cover of my scooter completely ripped and damaged. On questioning the security guard, he said that stray dogs had caused such damage during the night.”
We observed more than 25-30 stray dogs in the hospital premises, especially in the two-wheeler parking area. These dogs not only cause damage to vehicles but also instill fear in the elderly, patients, women, children and other people visiting the hospital.
The security personnel said that due to the menace of stray dogs, children, women and elderly people especially fear to visit the parking area alone.Furthermore, they said they have filed a complaint with the hospital authorities and the security company, who reportedly contacted the Mysore Municipal Corporation (MCC), but the issue remains unresolved.
We hope that the relevant authorities will take swift action to address and resolve this issue to ensure the safety and security of all who visit the hospital.
