Olivia Bowen first rose to fame as the runner-up in season two of the show. Love IslandIt was on the show that she met her future husband, Alex Bowen. The couple recently welcomed their first child together. In March, Bowen started going to the gym to lose the weight she gained during her pregnancy. She decided to try Pilates and posted a photo of herself on the reformer to Instagram. Bowen captioned the post:My latest obsession (again)! I hadn’t done reformer pilates since I was pregnant and it feels so good to do it when I’m completely healthy.”

Bowen does a lot to stay in shape, and in an Instagram post, she shared some of her favorites: “Over the past few months I’ve made health and fitness a priority and have done everything from running, HIIT, strength training, horseback riding – the list goes on haha. I’m a person who absolutely needs change otherwise I lose focus and get bored, so I try to try a little bit of everything. I’ve definitely felt a lot better both inside and out.”

Bowen shared his fitness secrets in an interview. Women’s HealthShe said she tries to stay consistent with her exercise routine: “I think it’s a tough balance because you have to be disciplined and go even when you don’t feel like it. There were some workouts I didn’t want to go to, but I ended up setting a personal best. You have to go for yourself. The first step is literally getting there, and once you get there, half the battle is like done.”

Bowen likes to train with her husband, Alex. This video She posted a photo of herself at the gym on Instagram. Better HealthExercising with others has many benefits. ““Exercising with a friend or loved one makes exercising more enjoyable and increases the likelihood of sticking to your exercise plan. Exercising with a friend is a great way to stay motivated. It’s also a great way to meet new people. It saves you money, too.”

Bowen told Women’s Health that she makes sure to workout in a way that she enjoys. “For me, it’s important to find something that you really enjoy. When I first started working out, I wasn’t sure what I liked, so I tried a lot of different things. It’s great to focus on exercise and health, but you need to enjoy it to stick to it. I tried everything to find something that actually made me happy, not just worked out.”

As you can see from her recent posts, Bowen loves Pilates. Cleveland ClinicPilates has many benefits. “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it looks different from other strength-training exercises you may be familiar with. Pilates focuses on improving muscle tone rather than building muscle, but the results are the same: improved stability and endurance. Pilates won’t make you bulkier; rather, it’s designed to give you a longer, leaner figure. However, it will help you build a stronger physical foundation for strength-building activities and reduce the chance of injury.”
