Better HealthExercising with others has many benefits. ““Exercising with a friend or loved one makes exercising more enjoyable and increases the likelihood of sticking to your exercise plan. Exercising with a friend is a great way to stay motivated. It’s also a great way to meet new people. It saves you money, too.”
Bowen told Women’s Health that she makes sure to workout in a way that she enjoys. “For me, it’s important to find something that you really enjoy. When I first started working out, I wasn’t sure what I liked, so I tried a lot of different things. It’s great to focus on exercise and health, but you need to enjoy it to stick to it. I tried everything to find something that actually made me happy, not just worked out.”
As you can see from her recent posts, Bowen loves Pilates. Cleveland ClinicPilates has many benefits. “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it looks different from other strength-training exercises you may be familiar with. Pilates focuses on improving muscle tone rather than building muscle, but the results are the same: improved stability and endurance. Pilates won’t make you bulkier; rather, it’s designed to give you a longer, leaner figure. However, it will help you build a stronger physical foundation for strength-building activities and reduce the chance of injury.”
