As we’ve said before, the supplement market can be tricky. You want to prioritize putting good ingredients into your body, but it can be hard to know what that means on the label of your pill bottle. Multivitamin and supplement company Ritual makes transparency a priority, which is important in the modern day and age.

Ritual was founded by Katerina Schneider in Los Angeles. On her website, she states that she frequently came across multivitamins and other high-quality supplements that didn’t contain clean or completely trustworthy ingredients. Enter Ritual. The brand quickly lets you know they “don’t deal in pseudoscience,” a term often used to describe the supplement industry. The company’s philosophy is centered around high-quality, good-for-you ingredients.
The company makes a variety of supplements for different groups of people, primarily for women and pregnant women, but also offers products for men and teenagers. Their supplement options are further divided into subcategories, all focused on skin, brain and heart health, sleep, stress relief, and more.
But all that variety is meaningless without authenticity. When a brand makes many products, all of which seem promising, how can you be sure that what you’re getting is of high quality? One of the pillars of the brand’s identity is that they’re very transparent about what’s in their products, where those ingredients come from, and the clinical studies that back up their ingredients, so they’re easy to verify.
On the homepage, you first have access to the traceability certificate, which lists the source of the ingredients, third-party testing for allergens, microbes and heavy metals, and third-party certification. It also features peer-reviewed clinical studies, showing the results of testing specific products. Indeed, this is refreshing and very easy to navigate. The first truth is only important if these facts make sense to the consumer who is using the product.
I personally tried Ritual’s Omega-3 DHA + EPA supplement, which is made from sustainably sourced microalgae rather than conventional fish oil, and is vegan if that’s a selling point. Because it relies on algae, it has the added benefit of having a less fishy taste after swallowing.
One of the biggest benefits for me was how easy Ritual Omega-3 supplements were to take. For those of you who are unfamiliar with fish oil and omega-3 supplements, they typically come in very large pills that can make them difficult for some people to take…like me.
What drew me in even more was the clarity that comes with Ritual’s products: Their website explains that the omega-3s in their supplements come from a supplier called Polaris in France, and also provides ample resources for individuals to understand the science behind why they should take omega-3s.
Basically, the site is great at answering any questions you may have, but if you still have questions, check out the help page or email me at my@ritual.com.
Ritual products are available to purchase in stores like Whole Foods and Target, but they also have an online subscription option that makes it easy to set up a refill cycle for any product you purchase.
The best part about this experience is that the site is currently hosting a massive Memorial Day sale that runs from May 20th to May 29th. No matter what you buy, you’ll get 25% off your regular order. But if you want to save even more, take a look at Ritual’s bundles, some of which are up to 40% off. Combos like the Gut and Skin Kit and Gut and Stress Kit are both 35% off, and finally, the Essential Gut and Skin Kit is 40% off.
If you’re looking for supplements and want to understand what you’re taking, Ritual is worth turning to, especially during their Memorial Day price cuts.
