Gori Soli, a NASM-certified personal trainer with a background in hot yoga, Pilates and more, has signed a deal to bring the emerging Miami brand to New York.
As Pilates takes the boutique fitness world by storm, Miami-based Jet Set Pilates is expanding beyond Florida with ambitious goals of opening 600 franchised studios across the U.S. Now, Modern Reformer’s Reformer Pilates brand is trying to make it big in New York City.
Bringing JetSet Pilates to New York City’s SoHo neighborhood this summer is Goli Soli, a NASM-certified personal trainer who has been in the fitness industry for 12 years, teaching group and private classes (hot yoga, bootcamp, mat pilates, reformer pilates) both nationally and internationally.
Prior to becoming a Jet Set Pilates franchise owner, Soli was a student and instructor and was impressed with the brand’s approach to group fitness.
“Being in the industry for a long time, I’ve tried a variety of fitness concepts,” Soli told Athletics Tech News, “but from the first time I took a Jet Set class, I knew this was truly cutting edge, revolutionizing group and individual fitness. Every class is uniquely curated by the instructor with a harmonious playlist, making every student feel like a best friend. As both a student and instructor at this studio, I wanted to share this experience with everyone in the Big Apple.”

Soli holds a bachelor’s degree in public health with a concentration in community health, an MBA and a master’s in higher education, in addition to several years of experience in executive events and communications. Soli says she became passionate about teaching yoga and pilates after suffering a severe back injury that forced her to re-examine her training methods.
“Coming from a background in fitness, events and entertainment, every class is an experience that allows my clients to show up as their truest selves and feel empowered to continue to raise the bar of what’s possible,” Soli said.
She is excited to bring JetSet Pilates to SoHo and share her 50-minute class experience and personalized approach with New Yorkers.
“Jet Set not only offers an intense, full-body workout with cutting edge instructors, but also a premium luxury experience that leaves you feeling deeply euphoric, as if you’ve just returned from the best festival in town,” Soli says. “We combine elements of strength training, cardio, conditioning, blended playlists and Pilates-inspired movement all in one to unlock the connection between fitness and mental health with every class.”

Jet Set Pilates’ SoHo location is scheduled to open this summer, but Soli is already keen to expand the franchise beyond New York.
“We definitely have plans to open more studios over the next few years,” she said.

JetSet Pilates also has development agreements in Texas, North Carolina and Georgia, as well as Australia.
“Each Jet Set session is more than just a Pilates class; it’s a meticulously planned journey,” Jet Set Pilates founder Tamara Galinsky told ATN in February. “What started with one studio has grown to five corporate locations, with 29 franchise locations in development (at the time) and poised to expand to over 600 franchise studios across the country. The journey has been nothing short of amazing.”
