Rancho Cucamonga, California, May 23, 2024 Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) has broken ground on construction of its new Community Wellness Center (CWC). San Bernardino upon May 22Health program leaders and city officials were invited to tour the site for the first time.
The two-story, 33,000-square-foot space to be built at 2050 N. Massachusetts Ave. will open in 2025 and replace the existing center on Second Street.

The San Bernardino CWC is the first of three community wellness centers to open in the region, joining Riverside and VictorvilleAll centers provide IEHP members and non-members with free access to holistic health-based resources.
The new CWC will have amenities not available at its current 6,500-square-foot location, including:
- Six multi-purpose rooms will also serve as accessible spaces for the community to host meetings and gatherings.
- A state-of-the-art integrated teaching kitchen that can accommodate up to 50 people.
- Five partner suites for integrated community-based organization (CBO) partners who serve residents.
- A multimedia room equipped with tools to accommodate technology-based learning and growth.
- Expanded class schedule.
- a children’s room and teen center that hosts all-day programs;
For many, CWC has created lasting bonds between facility staff and all who visit each center.
