Off-White™ has launched the “BE RIGHT BACK” (BRB) sneaker, designed to inspire individuals to embrace life’s “gray areas” and focus on personal wellness. The BRB sneaker aims to help wearers eliminate distractions and work on self-improvement, encouraging them to return to everyday life reinvigorated and ready to be their best selves. “The ‘BRB’ sneaker has it all.”
Building on the success of Off-White™ founder Virgil Abloh’s 2020 “OUT OF OFFICE” sneaker, the BRB sneaker promotes unlocking one’s true potential. Reflecting the brand’s irreverent DNA, it challenges traditional notions of wellness. “BE WELL” suggests that holistic health can be achieved through both relaxation and activity, asserting that a night out dancing can be just as beneficial as a meditation session. It’s all about doing what feels right for you.
Drawing inspiration from ’90s performance running shoes, the BRB sneaker combines mesh and rubberized leather with Off-White™ iconic design elements, including Bookish typography, cable ties and a dynamic new interpretation of the signature Arrow. Available in 11 colorways, including four limited-edition versions inspired by the brand’s debut locations of New York, Miami, Milan and Paris, the collection promotes self-expression.
Off-White™ will celebrate the launch of BRB with a series of “RETREAT” events, starting in New York on May 22. These events will feature curated wellness experiences in three themed spaces: “THE CLEANSE” (a spa-like environment), the sociable “RECESS ROOM” and the rave-inspired “THE WORKOUT.” Following New York, events will follow in Miami, Milan and Paris. The limited-edition New York colorway will be available in stores and online from May 22, followed by city-specific and global releases of all 11 colorways in September.
