It’s hard to believe that time flies so fast, but Hallow, the world’s #1 prayer and meditation app, is already gearing up to host its third annual Hallow Summit. This three-day conference will be hosted by Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, and will run from August 2nd to August 4th, 2024.
On its website, Harrow explains that the purpose of the summit is to lead participants to “encounter the presence of God in the Eucharist, the Word, and prayer.”
The theme of this year’s summit is “Prayer and Surrender.” This topic will be discussed by two guest speakers, actor Jonathan Roomy ( The Chosen Ones) and American evangelist Jeff Cavins. The next day, Rumi will be on hand to guide participants through the Holy Rosary.
Rumi will also sit next to Dr. Scott Hahn and Sr. Josephine Garrett as part of an interactive panel to talk about “Prayer Through Suffering.” It’s not all Jonathan Roomy, though, as there will be a variety of guest speakers on stage throughout the three-day conference. These include international Catholic speaker Chika Anyanwu; Catholic priest Fr. Frankie Cicero; faith-driven “mother keeper” Leah Darrow; and Harrow co-founder Brian Enriquez.
The summit’s webpage notes there will also be opportunities to pray and worship with members of the unique Catholic music group The Vigil Project, but the schedule does not specify whether they will perform or whether they will be praying. It is not stated whether they only participate as part of a group.
The 3rd Annual Hallow Summit will feature many great guest speakers, and organizers hope to spread the value of meeting and getting to know other members of the Hallow community. One of last year’s participants said community building was her favorite part.:
“What I loved most was the intimacy of getting to know everyone and having meaningful conversations with everyone involved, from the creators of Hallow to the presenters and participants.”
