The company recently launched B.Clinicx with four body care products at Olive Young, a multi-brand health and beauty retailer.
According to the company, consumer responses to the series are as follows: “warm” We are planning to launch another product in May.

For example, Brightening Body Lotion was developed to brighten dull, uneven skin tones and is formulated with 5% niacinamide to target issues such as dark elbows and knees.
According to the brand, it’s a refreshing lemon-scented gel formula that enhances comfort during the hot summer months.
Packed with hero ingredients
The company also launched products targeting rough and dry skin. Polishing Body Lotion combines 5% PHA, betaine, and 5 types of hyaluronic acid to exfoliate while keeping skin moisturized.
It also helps with keratosis pilaris (KP), a common skin condition that causes small bumps all over the skin.
B.Clinicx has also launched two products that target skin elasticity in the bust and buttocks, respectively.
This bust beauty firming cream contains 5% low-molecular collagen and volufiline. The latter is an ingredient in Sederma that claims to have a plumping effect by stimulating fatty tissue growth and increasing volume and contour in targeted areas.
Bun Bun Serum contains 11 types of peptides and low-molecular collagen to improve skin density and elasticity. It also claims to be effective against pigmentation.
The latest product is a gua sha massage cream containing 0.2% magnesium sulfate and escin, which was developed to relieve swelling and improve blood circulation in swollen calves.
This product features a gua sha massage head that is designed to fit the curve of your calf and provide an easy and effective massage.
The company plans to release it in mid-May in time for the summer season.
Category growth
Market research firm Mintel previously identified ingredient-driven body care products as a growth opportunity in South Korea.
The magazine noted that key ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate, panthenol, ceramides and niacinamide are likely to become more prominent in body care, mirroring their popularity in facial care.
LG H&H’s rival Amorepacific also recently launched targeted body care products that focus on well-known skin care ingredients.
This includes Illiyoon’s line, a derma beauty brand that focuses on sensitive skin concerns.
The three-piece body care product set, released in late April, contains 2% salicylic acid and Centella asiatica, commonly known as cica, to address problems such as troubled skin and back acne.
The line’s flagship product, the Body Mist, claims to reduce blemishes in seven days.
In early April, Amorepacific’s personal care brand Happy Bath also launched a body wash and back mask to combat back acne that contain ingredients such as tea tree, cica, and niacinamide.
