Grilled, baked, or slow roasted, chicken is delicious no matter how you prepare it. But if you really want to wow your guests this season, try Giada De Laurentiis’ latest “dinner party-worthy” chicken recipe. It’s packed full of flavor and you’ll be surprised!
“This recipe is perfect for a dinner party and super easy to whip up,” De Laurentiis wrote on Instagram. Easy and delicious? Try it! The Italian chef went into more detail about the recipe in the caption: “The rich, nutty flavor of hazelnuts combined with balsamic vinegar and herbs makes this chicken one you’ll come back for again and again,” she wrote.
De Laurentiis shared her recipe for Hazelnut Balsamic Sheet Pan Chicken on her Giadzy website. This easy meal takes just 15 minutes (!!) to prep after you marinate the chicken for two hours. The marinade calls for honey, hazelnut oil, and other ingredients, and it’s baked with things like Yukon gold potatoes and crushed cerignola olives.
In the summer 2023 cover interview she knows, the cookbook author shared that making delicious and simple recipes is a family tradition. “My mom taught me how to prioritize my time and how to make simple and great meals,” she said.
This flavorful chicken recipe is a perfect example, and I love that it’s an entire meal in one skillet. You can add a side salad or roasted vegetables if you like, or serve it on its own. It’s so delicious, it might become a staple recipe this summer!
