Industry experts believe that approximately 15-25% of the population experiences joint discomfort in their early 40s. A common symptom of joint-related pain is poor posture from sedentary, long-term sitting work, which may contribute to the gradual development of the body. Over time, your muscles will become sore. Ayurvedic experts have known for decades that Ayurveda’s ancient importance has provided a deep understanding of joint and muscle pain and effective ways to manage and prevent it. It is claimed that

Dr. Yamuna BS, Principal Physician of Guduchi Ayurveda, in an interview with HT Lifestyle said that as a result of today’s fast-paced lifestyle and eating habits, joint and muscle disorders are increasing among people of all age groups. We highlighted the growing concern about pleasure. She says, “Our ever-changing lifestyle choices and the way we feed ourselves and live can have a huge impact on the health of our joints and muscles. Especially , long-term injuries or ligament tears, poor posture, vitamin D deficiency, and other medical conditions such as arthritis are some of the common causes behind joint and muscle pain over time. It is very important to address these problems because if left untreated, they can lead to swelling, stiffness, limited mobility, and excessive pain, which can sometimes interfere with daily life. By leveraging the wisdom of Ayurveda, we can provide customized treatments that promote harmony between mind, body, and spirit and effectively manage joint and muscle pain.”

Dr. Yamuna further adds, “Such symptoms are often caused by imbalances within the body, and ‘Sharaki’ extract is a holistic herb that minimizes joint damage and improves rheumatism and arthritis pain. The age-old treatment helps people manage muscle discomfort and joint stiffness, putting them on the path to pain-free, active health. Through the integration of Ayurvedic concepts and alternative treatments, we can help patients understand, manage, and overcome joint and muscle discomfort. ”

Rajinder Dhamija, Ayurvedic expert and founder of Darisha Ayurveda, says, “In the ever-changing world of modern lifestyles, joint and muscle discomfort is no longer just a problem for people over 40, but also for teenagers. We tend to look for solutions that are not only effective, but also less complex. Over the years, we have found that Ayurveda provides valuable insight into this process. According to Ayurveda, three doshas are important for human health: Pitta, Kapha, and Vata. As we age, Vata dosha plays an important role in joint stiffness and other discomforts as it relates to movement. This imbalance can affect tissue nutrition, deplete the lubricants that protect the joints, and cause stiffness and pain during movement. Recognizing the signs of joint and muscle pain in Ayurveda involves observing small signs such as stiffness, crackling, and heaviness in the affected area. ”

He goes on to say, “To address these discomforts, we recommend a simple but effective approach. This includes adopting a lifestyle that is consistent with our unique dosha composition and This includes incorporating exercise and relaxation techniques such as yoga and meditation. In the world of Ayurvedic medicine, garlic is a powerful treatment known for its antibacterial and antioxidant properties, which can help reduce joint pain. Additionally, an effective herb to promote joint health is Nirgundi, which is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties. We also use natural herbs such as Ashwagandha and Clove to promote joint and muscle health. We advocate integrating therapy into daily life. We believe in a holistic approach to identifying root causes, incorporating both traditional Ayurvedic knowledge and modern insights. We will provide you with the best possible treatment.”

Understanding and managing joint and muscle pain requires a multifaceted approach that considers both traditional and holistic methods. However, always consult your health care professional for personalized advice based on your specific needs.
