Bihar- JP Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences, Bihar invites applications for its Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course for the 2024 session. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of Ayurveda University.
Eligibility criteria
1 Passing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) with a valid score is mandatory.
2 Candidates must have successfully completed Class 12 (Intermediate) or equivalent subjects with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) as core subjects and meet the minimum pass percentage set by the university.
Admission procedure
1 Admission to the Ayurvedic Institute’s BAMS program is primarily managed through an intensive counseling process conducted by BCCEB.
2 Meet the eligibility criteria for admission to the BAMS program.
3 Candidates with NEET qualification are eligible for admission to BAMS program
4 Admission to the BAMS program is based on NEET score.
Five candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in NEET, after which state NEET counseling will take place.
6 Seats will be allocated after verification of documents and payment of fees.
On the other hand, the fee for BAMS course in the university is Rs. (4.5 + 1 year internship) is 1.391 Lakhs whereas internship is free and costs 10 Lakhs. 96,000 per year for dormitory fees. The university offers separate dormitories with meals for boys and girls.
