
Last year, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis published a study showing that the body and mind are intimately intertwined. We decided to investigate two of his alternative wellness practices at opposite ends of the spectrum that demonstrate the mind-body connection: cryotherapy and sound baths. Both encourage participants to focus on their breathing and be present in the present moment, but this is the only thing these two practices have in common.
