Audacy has created an online site focused on mental health awareness and resources as part of its continued commitment to its flagship program “I’m Listening.” In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, this page features interviews, podcasts, and discussions with local leaders about the importance of mental health.
Features include pop stars Usher and Meghan Trainor talking about their challenges, their therapy work, and helpful tips for their daily lives.
Speaking candidly with Urban Contemporary V103 WVEE Atlanta afternoon host Greg Street, Usher said: [gone] Through… But it has to come out, it has to come out. First and foremost, you must listen to yourself and then forgive yourself. ”
Trainor talks about the importance of mental health as a mother and explains how she has been able to open up to others’ vulnerabilities.
“Hearing [Carson Daly] When I told him about his panic attacks, I thought, ‘I have to talk about what I’ve been through,'” she explains. “When I do that, my fans tell me their stories and how they don’t feel alone. The more I talk about this, the more people I can help, and that’s such a gift. .”
Audacy’s blog post also includes a link to a 2023 “I’m Listening” broadcast special starring Selena Gomez, Lenny Kravitz, Billie Eilish and Shawn Mendes.
A selection of podcasts includes “Meditation for Women” from the Women’s Meditation Network, hosted by Katie Krimitsos; “From the Heart” and “Self Care Daily” with Rachel Brazen. and “We Can Do Hard Things” with Glennon Doyle, his wife Abby Wambach, and her sister Amanda Doyle.
The Mental Health Awareness page also features an interview with KRLD Dallas (1080) conducted by news anchor John Riddle with Lt. Pedro Barrineau of the Garland Police Department and Media Relations Specialist James Dugger of the Garland Fire Department. The focus is on the department’s “Overwatch Peer Support” program.
This webpage also includes a link to “I’m Listening Mental Health Mix,” which will be released this month on the Audacy streaming platform.
