WTHN, a modern wellness brand rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, is expanding its presence in New York City with a new UWS location.

UPPER WEST SIDE, N.Y. — A modern wellness brand already established in two other New York City locations is now looking to launch its newest branch on the Upper West Side.

Acupuncture studio and wellness brand WTHN is scheduled to open at 69 West 71st Street later this year, taking over the space previously occupied by Driver, according to brokerage Brand Urban.

“The Upper West Side has become a prime target market for luxury service brands in the health and wellness space,” said Taryn Brandes, founder of Brand Urban. “WTHN’s thoughtful expansion into this neighborhood allows the brand to expand its customer base in Uptown Manhattan, allowing it to serve a mature, dense and sophisticated residential customer for the first time.”

At the new store, customers can immerse themselves in the brand’s renowned holistic healing services, including personalized acupuncture, cupping and herbal treatments.

Complementing these offerings, a stand-alone retail wellness shop will be launched with a selection of branded products on display for easy browsing and purchase.

Beginner rates start at $85 and include a 15-minute health exam. Members receive 1 Her treatment per month, 1 Her guest pass per year, complimentary cupping therapy, 15% off Her at retail stores, and more.

“The team is excited to be located in the customer journey between Central Park and the shopping and fitness destinations of Columbus Avenue,” Brandes said. “With a significant void in the market compared to the Upper East Side, this location presents a real opportunity to cater to an untapped market seeking a more elevated and accessible wellness experience.”

WTHN stands out as a pioneering omnichannel modern wellness brand with deep roots in traditional Chinese medicine, offering unique and customized experiences that empower your personal health journey.

Michelle Larrivee, a former investment banker, is the visionary behind WTHN. Inspired by her own life-changing experience with traditional Chinese medicine, she empowers individuals to prioritize their health by providing accessible solutions to reduce everyday stress and pain. We created a brand that aims to do just that.

WTHN currently has locations in Flatiron and Williamsburg. For more information, please visit www.wthn.com.
