ROCHELLE – Northern Rehabilitation Physical Therapists are pleased to announce and present the annual 2024 Rochelle Township High School Health & Wellness Scholarship to Kendall Sachs.
Sacks, a senior at RTHS, was selected for her outstanding accomplishments in athletics, academics, and extracurricular activities, as well as her choice to pursue a career in the health care field. Kendall participated in sports such as JV volleyball and varsity cheerleading during her high school years, and she was also a member of the girls’ Powder Puff football team and the boys’ Powder Puff volleyball coach. She is a member of her 2024 Illinois Scholars, National Honors Society, and Student Council. Her extracurricular and volunteer activities include Hub Power Iron Club, Office and Counseling Center Monitor, member of the Senior Business Leadership Academy, volunteering at the Thanksgiving 2-Ton Food Drive and Hope Chest Clothing Drive, King’s These include school sports day admissions, Make a Difference Day, and more. Beyond recognition of type 1 diabetes. This fall, Kendall plans to attend Kishwaukee Community College to study nutrition and dietetics and pursue a career as a registered dietitian.
