Easy dessert recipes for Mother’s Day 2024:
Peanut butter, banana and jam crepe
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, eggs, milk, water, melted butter, and salt. Whisk until the mixture is lump-free. Next, heat the frying pan and grease it with butter. Scoop the mix into the pan and tilt to spread the batter. Cook the crepes until golden brown, 2 minutes on each side. Spread peanut butter on half of the crepes and top with sliced bananas. Fold and unfold the mixed fruit jam. Fold the crepe into a triangle again and garnish with banana slices and powdered sugar.
Gooey chocolate brownie
To make these rich, fluffy, gooey brownies, you’ll need four ingredients: almond butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and chocolate frosting. Combine almond butter, maple syrup, and cocoa powder in a bowl. Transfer the batter to the lined tin and add the chocolate frosting on top. Refrigerate brownies for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Prepare a family-sized pack of Oreos and set aside at least half of the cookies for the dough and some for the filling and decorations. Mix the crushed Oreos and melted butter in a bowl. Transfer the mixture to a pie plate and press firmly to create an even layer of base. Place in the freezer while you prepare the stuffing. Next, mix the cubed cheese, hung curds, cottage cheese, and Oreos in a blender. Add this to the dough and smooth the surface. Garnish with crushed Oreos. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Combine flour and eggs in a mixing bowl. Add milk, water, melted butter, and salt to the mixture. Stir the ingredients to combine without forming any lumps. Next, lightly brush the pan with butter and scoop the batter into the pan. Tilt the pan quickly in a circular motion to spread the batter evenly over the surface of the pan. Bake for 2 minutes until the crepes are golden brown. Flip it over and cook the other side as well. Spread Nutella on half of each crepe and fold in half. Repeat this and fold it into a triangle. Garnish with chopped strawberries, Nutella, and a little powdered sugar.
