Lately, my social media feed has been flooded with videos of home cooks biting into pizza made with a protein-packed chicken crust and topped with a crunchy Caesar salad.

Watched by millions of TikTok users caesar salad chicken crust pizza video There, creators share recipes and promise that their viral dishes will taste fresh and flavorful. Additionally, it’s fairly low in carbohydrates and high in protein, especially when compared to typical pizza.

I had bariatric surgery over a year ago. Consume about 100 grams of protein dailySo when I saw a pizza that replaced the more traditional bread-like dough with chicken, I was intrigued.

So I made it viral caesar salad chicken crust pizza In my own kitchen and my family and I were pleasantly surprised.

I watched a lot of videos on the internet about how to make it caesar salad chicken crust pizza And in the end I used quite a bit of easy version I found it on TikTok as a roadmap.

The ingredients needed for the dough are simple. A 10-ounce can of drained chicken, 1 egg, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.

I also needed a head of romaine lettuce, Caesar salad Add the dressing and some more Parmesan cheese to use as a pizza topping.

I used a 12-1/2 ounce can of chicken in the recipe and it didn’t seem to have any negative effect on the results. Rather, more protein was added. An entire can of chicken contains a whopping 52 grams of protein.

I started by adding the ingredients for the chicken crust to a bowl.

After draining the water from the canned chicken, I added the shredded meat chunks to a mixing bowl with the eggs, cheese, and spices and mixed until combined.

The juicy shredded chicken and extra spices were brought together nicely by the eggs and parmesan, giving the whole mix a delicious aroma.

Shaping the chicken mixture by hand was easy.

I spread the chicken mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flattened it with my hands to form a round dough shape.

This step was surprisingly easy. I expected my hands to get dirty, but make meatballs I used ground beef and the cleanup was minimal. It didn’t take long to get the perfect round dough shape I was looking for.

The ingredients yielded a pizza dough approximately 9 inches in diameter.

I ended up with a pizza dough that was about 9 1/2 inches in diameter, about the size of an average small pizza.

While the dough was baking, I cut up some lettuce for the salad topping.

The chicken skin needed to be baked at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes, so I put it in the oven and got to work on my Caesar salad.

After chopping 1 head of romaine lettuce, add Caesar dressing, shredded Parmesan cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to a bowl and mix everything together.

The chicken mix was crispy, like pizza dough with lots of bread.

It was easy to press the chicken flat and shape it.

After baking in the oven for 40 minutes, the chicken looked like this. thin crust pizza I buy it from a local pizza shop.

The thin, crispy crust was golden brown, and the aroma of garlic chicken filled the kitchen as soon as it came out of the oven.

After letting the dough cool slightly, I assembled the pizza.

There is This chicken pizza has no sauce. Instead of mozzarella or marinara, this much-talked-about dish calls for only a Caesar salad topped with chicken skin and full dressing.

Once the dough had cooled a bit, I followed TikTok’s instructions and placed the salad on top.

My version of the viral recipe was exactly what I saw on social media.

Consider using this chicken mix instead of regular dough when making other types of pizza.

Reproducing the virus recipe Pizza at home can be hit-or-miss, but my pizza was definitely my favorite of the versions I’ve seen on TikTok’s “For You” page and Instagram Reels.

It looked bright and delicious and I loved that it was topped with fresh greens and vegetables. Packed with plenty of lean protein.

I would definitely make this topical dish again – and I’m glad my family liked it too.

When it’s time to taste me caesar salad chicken crust pizzaI was shocked, as was my husband and teenage daughter.

Although it was on the small side, the pizza was packed with protein so it was quite filling. Paired with a side of macaroni and cheese, the three of us eating the salad had no problem eating it.

While we didn’t miss the bread-like dough that pizza is usually made with, we found the chicken alternative to be lighter on the stomach and overall more filling thanks to all the protein. Ta.

I would definitely make this dish again. I’ll also save the chicken crust recipe.

Next time, I think I’ll bake the dough, top it with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, and bake it a little more. My husband and I both agreed that chicken parmesan pizza might be the next big trend.
