The Forest Service should help make skiing cheaper.

Most, if not all, ski areas in Colorado build their lodges and lifts on U.S. Forest Service land. Unless governments charge exorbitant rental fees in these areas, the ski industry has made downhill skiing a sport for the wealthy. Lift tickets cost over $100 a day. What should the poor child do? Cross-country skiing is growing in popularity not because of the natural beauty of the landscape, but because the sport is free. If the Forest Service wants to make downhill skiing accessible to rich and poor alike, it will need to put a reasonable cap on fees.

When golf and tennis courses became economically accessible to everyone, the country club atmosphere of those sports largely disappeared, and a wave of new blood was injected into those sports. The same thing would happen if ski resort prices were one-tenth of their current prices. The U.S. Forest Service could make skiing more democratic with the stroke of a pen. Let’s not forget who owns the forest. We own it, you and I.

The city seems to be blocking the flow of traffic

we people of boulder I have to commend the Department of Transportation’s efforts in restricting motor vehicle traffic in Folsom years ago and now intending to do the same in Iris and Baseline, disrupting the smooth flow of traffic. However, I have found their most impressive and cost-effective plan. It’s about stopping filling holes, and maybe even stopping creating more holes, at no cost to us taxpayers. wonderful!

Mental health services are needed due to the impact of the new coronavirus

the battle isn’t over yet and We need to help people get on the right track with their mental health. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic is still lingering for four years and is impacting Americans’ mental health. The ongoing struggle with mental health issues Severe. The pandemic has affected the nation’s mental health. That has led to increased rates of anxiety and depression across the country. Despite efforts to reduce these impacts, the lack of accessible and effective mental health services remains significant. As this difficult pandemic continues, that’s all We must still focus on support systems and resources to help our citizens. As well as finding ways to improve your mental health. According to an article published on March 2, 2022, who“During the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the global prevalence of anxiety and depression increased significantly by 25%.”

One solution could involve expanding telehealth services for mental health support. Telemedicine has effectively increased access to care, especially in remote and underserved areas. this It will also help people in isolated areas far from hospitals. right Facility. Investing in telehealth infrastructure can provide individuals with convenient and timely access to mental health professionals.

Another solution to help mental health is increasing funding for mental health programs and services. this This is critical as this may include support from local community mental health centres, crisis intervention services and school-based mental health counselors. lastly, we should talk about mental health Learn more and We should help Americans with mental health issues.

The time has come for Boulder to part ways with Excel.

Colorado Public Service (Xcel) After a Century of Powering Colorado boulder, Residents are left with unreliable and dangerous electrical systems using equipment they have paid for many times over. I wonder what would have happened if this recent intentional blackout had happened before the last vote on cityhood. The good news is that you can vote to leave the Xcel franchise next year. let’s Beyond monopoly.
