Mumbai: Anuj Kohli, who plays the role of Saransh in ‘Dahej Daasi’, produced under the banner of ‘Ravindra Gautam’ and Raghuvir Shekhwat’s ‘Dahej Daasi’ (Do Dooni 4 Films), says that he is a creature of the day. He says he enjoys shooting during the day. But the actor knows that this job also involves shooting at night, and he knows that his meditation helps at such times.
“Ah, the infamous night shooting! While some may thrive in the light of the moon, I have to admit that I am a creature of sunlight. There’s something about it that fuels my creativity and productivity. Nevertheless, when duty calls for a nighttime escape, I rely heavily on mindfulness practices such as meditation to maintain mental strength. It’s definitely a delicate balance, but we actors embrace it with resilience and a touch of humour,” he said.
He admits that acting is a full-time job and can mean long periods of non-stop work, but playing supporting roles allows him to spend time with family and friends. says.
“It’s certainly quite a juggling act to deal with the grueling schedule of a daily soap while maintaining a private life, don’t you think? As an actor so immersed in this world, who knows? “I’ve noticed that it’s not exactly a walk in the park, but it varies in intensity,” he said.
“As a supporting character, I’m lucky to not have to be tied down to a set all month every month. This has given me the luxury of carving out precious moments for myself and my loved ones amidst a hectic filming schedule.” he added.
