– Being a mother can be tough, but celebrating Mother’s Day and other spring events can be easy. What better way to celebrate spring with mom than with brunch or outdoor cocktail hour on your deck or patio?
Spring celebrations require menus to match. For a spring party, we recommend fluffy quiches, fruit parfaits, flaky croissants, and refreshing drinks.
Make your Mother’s Day or spring celebration even more special with Seagram’s Escapes Strawberry Mamarita, featuring the perfectly sweet and tangy flavor of Seagram’s Escapes Jamaican Me Happy, a unique blend of lemon, watermelon, strawberry and guava. Let’s make it a thing.
Directions are easy. In just 5 minutes and just a few ingredients, you can create the perfect spring cocktail to enhance any event and pair with any menu, from casual to elegant.
Seagram’s Escapes Strawberry Mamarita
– 1 strawberry
– 1 oz.tequila
– 1 lime (with juice)
– Seagram’s Escapes Jamaican Me Happy 1/2 cup
– sea salt, for the rim of the glass
– Watermelon slices and strawberries, for garnish
To prepare mamarita, first add sea salt to a shallow dish. Wrap a lime slice around the rim of a margarita glass and dip the glass in the salt until the rim is well coated.
Slice the strawberries, put them in a cocktail shaker, mix until crumbly, then add the tequila, lime juice, and ice and shake until chilled. Pour chilled mixture into prepared margarita glasses over ice. For the grand finale, top with 1/2 cup of Seagram’s Escapes Jamaican Me Happy and garnish with another strawberry and watermelon slice, if desired.
Like other recipes in Seagram’s Escapes collection, you can make this your own. Create unique drinks for specific events and customize by adding spirits or your favorite fruit.
Enjoy them at Mother’s Day events, bridal showers, weddings, graduations, and other spring celebrations.
As warm weather sets in, try mixing Jamaican Me Happy or Seagram’s Escapes flavors with lemonade, freezing, and blending to create the ultimate adult slushie.
