The move comes after Liam saw a £3.5 million 15th century townhouse, also in the Cotswolds.
A fan of X (ex-Twitter) recently asked Liam if he was planning on watching his beloved Manchester City play rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final later this month.
He replied: “I don’t plan on rehearsing as a DM, so I plan to live like a monk and look good.”
Thirty years after the release of Oasis’ debut album of the same name, Liam will embark on the 12-date Definitely Maybe Tour in June.
However, due to a lingering feud with his brother Noel, he embarks on a tour without a band.
In March, Liam reaffirmed that he hadn’t spoken to Noel in “about 10 years”, dashing any hopes of a reunion before they even got off the ground.
Asked by a fan if he was going to watch Man City, Liam replied: “I’m not going to rehearse the DM.” [his upcoming Definitely Maybe tour] So I’ll live like a monk and look like a fool.”
Both brothers have confirmed that Oasis will not be reuniting, and even though they haven’t spoken in years, Liam has relentlessly teased fans that they’re all on good terms (Tweet on Sunday)
However, Liam enjoys teasing long-suffering fans about the issue on social media.
On Sunday, one person tweeted a photo of Liam with a guitar and asked: “Is that the guitar Noel broke?”
Liam replied, “You’re right, I’ll have to replace you next time I see you.”
A second person asked: “Liam, have Oasis reunited?” Liam replied, “That feels good.”
