
Aiming for a harmonious blend of faith and well-being, the St. Clare Catholic School Board is enthusiastically organizing both Catholic Education Week and Mental Wellness Week from May 6th to 10th. These weeks of celebration offer students and educators a unique opportunity to explore the deep intersections of healing, love, and compassion in our school and classroom communities.
By theme called by love, Catholic Education Week serves as a deep exploration of the multifaceted nature of love through the subthemes of hope, faith, mercy, justice, and joy. Throughout the week-long commemoration, educators will lead students on a prayerful exploration using guided discussions, videos, readings, songs, and more. The Rev. Gerald Bergey, Bishop of St. Catharines, will celebrate the Provincial Mass on May 8 at 11 a.m. The livestreamed Mass is open to all and is intended to encourage collective prayer and reflection.
Adopting the theme of Mental Wellness Week Healing through compassion, which emphasizes the vital role of empathy and care in promoting the well-being of individuals and communities. Each day of the week is dedicated to exploring a different aspect of compassionate living, from nurturing your inner self to cultivating social connections. Mental Wellness Week aims to highlight the essential link between emotional resilience and compassionate engagement, and encourages #CompassionConnects by fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. confirm.
