Members of Moving Meditation – Qigong in Andover visited The Healing Herd, a therapeutic alpaca farm in Nether Wallop run by Gail Foster, to celebrate their annual gala on Saturday 27th April .
The Qigong practitioners were greeted by six alpacas named Billy, Romesh, Al, Johnny, Lord and Richard.
After a thorough safety briefing, visitors led the alpacas on a short walk around the agility course. After the meet-and-greet, feeding, and walk, members of Moving Meditation – Qigong practiced Qigong surrounded by alpacas.
Julie Thomas of Moving Meditation – Qigong said: “It was magical to stand and finish my meditation in such a tranquil environment, soaking in the peace and the birdsong. Alpacas radiate a natural serenity and being with them was magical. I was really happy.”
