Cynergy Wellness enables clinicians to monitor BetterWay™ direct-to-consumer blood test orders
AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Babson Diagnostics, a science-first healthcare technology company, today announced that it is a private company providing nationwide physician services for workplace screening and consumer health. We announced a partnership with Cynergy Wellness, Inc. Under the terms of the partnership, Cynergy will provide clinician oversight services for her BetterWay™ blood tests ordered directly by consumers.
Synergy services include state pre-approval required for ordering direct-to-consumer (DTC) tests, test reviews to ensure the test is clinically appropriate for the customer, and test abnormalities or critical values. BetterWay’s blood tests require only a pea-sized sample of blood from a fingertip to provide medically accurate results that clinicians and patients can trust. Because BetterWay does not require a phlebotomist to draw blood, Babson plans to partner with innovative retailers to expand blood testing to pharmacies and other convenient retail locations. BetterWay’s test menu covers the most frequently ordered tests for general health, wellness, and screening.
