
(From KGCS) Missouri is projected to see a 14% increase in food science and nutrition jobs by 2030. Missouri Southern State University is working to prepare students to become part of its workforce by creating new degree programs. A degree in food science and nutrition will be the focus of the next Newsmaker program.
MSSU Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Lisa Thoms and Dr. Andrea Cullors, Dean of the Department of Kinesiology, will discuss the new degree research areas that will lead to new staff and new labs.
Newsmakers will air nightly at 5pm and 9pm the week of May 5th on KGCS-TV and 5:30am on Saturday May 11th on KOAM-TV. The video was also posted on his YouTube channel, KGCS-Missouri Southern State University.
