*Merasa returns to Desa Potato Head this summer for a seven-day curated experience. Erykah Baduprovides rejuvenation for mind and body.
This event combines music, creativity and holistic practices to provide a harmonious experience, guaranteeing a new perspective on health.
“Merasa advocates a holistic approach, recognizing that true happiness is a continuous journey, not a static destination.” Alvinology Media writes:. “This year’s event is themed ‘Good Times, Do Good’ and invites attendees to explore self-care on a deeper level while fostering connections and sharing knowledge with like-minded people. ”
Badu’s collaborators on the event include KT The Arch Degree, Notep, Tjok Gde Kerthyasa, Fa’ Pawaka and Waangenga Blanco.
“My own introduction to wellness was probably when I was about 9 years old,” she recently told Vibe. “I was in a summer program with a dance camp, and one of the drummers from the Africa portion of the dance camp taught us about nutrition and health, and that left a huge void for me. Thank you.”
The mother of three also revealed how she teaches her children the power of spiritual healing.
“Wow. It’s been a journey. My oldest child is now 27 years old, so for the past 27 years I’ve been their caregiver, doctor, nutritionist, and nurse,” she began. “My youngest son is 15 years old, so I hope I can instill in them my understanding of lifestyle and health. And I hope they use it in the world.”
The four-time Grammy Award winner said, “They were young, so they had to do the same things that I did. And when they got into about sixth grade, I started doing what they wanted to do. It gave me the option to do anything and replaced my school rules,” she further explained. “So if they didn’t want to follow my rules, they still had to come to my school, where I would still teach them these things.” They had a choice. It is. ”
Melasa, in partnership with Potato Head, welcomes guests to Bali from June 1st to 8th, inviting them to deepen their self-discovery while aligning with the rhythms of nature.
