Skin care experts say retinol isn’t the only thing that can reduce the signs of aging.
Her “natural” alternatives also work, and she shared other top tips and go-to products.
Natalie Pelger is the lead skin care trainer at Eminence Organic Skin Care.
In an interview with US Sun, she revealed how she manages to look age-defying without using injectables or harsh cosmetics.
Who is retinol?
Pergar recommended buying beauty products that mega skincare fans may have never heard of.
“Look for products that contain natural retinol alternatives like bakuchiol,” she advised.

“Antioxidant-rich bakuchiol, extracted from the seeds of the bakuchi plant, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while visibly increasing firmness and elasticity.
“Bakuchiol is unique in its ability to provide similar effects to traditional retinol, except for common side effects such as irritation and dryness.
“This can be a great option, especially for those with sensitive skin or those looking for a more natural option.”

She suggested adding Eminence Organics’ Citrus & Kale Potent C+E Serum to your skin care routine.
“This powerful antioxidant not only protects against free radicals, which are known to break down collagen and elastin, but also stimulates collagen production, improving skin elasticity for a more youthful appearance. ” she said.
“We recommend applying both vitamin C and SPF daily to further protect yourself from environmental stressors.
pamper yourself
Parger revealed that she doesn’t have to rely on expensive salon facials to keep her skin healthy because she uses home-made face masks on a daily basis.
“To plump up your skin naturally, one of my go-to products is Eight Greens Phyto Mask – Hot,” she said.
This mask’s secret weapon is paprika, known for its ability to increase blood flow and plump and glow your skin.

“This spicy, stimulating mask contains a unique blend of organic extracts such as yucca, hops, and flaxseed, which is great for reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and inflammation.
“But this mask’s secret weapon is paprika, known for its ability to increase blood flow and visibly plump and glow your skin.
“We recommend using this mask once or twice a week, or whenever your skin feels dull and needs a boost.”
“If you want to avoid products that stimulate blood flow, we recommend incorporating peptides into your skin care routine,” she continued.
“Peptides, known for increasing collagen production and cell turnover, can help replenish lost collagen and reduce signs of aging.
“As a proponent of natural skin care, I recommend looking for products rich in plant-based peptides.
“Peptides are found in ingredients such as algae extracts, satinchi (a nutritious seed from South America), and rice protein.
“These plant-based peptides reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving skin a firmer, lifted feel.”
timeless tools
“If you want to try a tool to reduce the signs of aging, we recommend opting for a gua sha tool or ice glove,” says Parger.
“Both are great options for massaging your face, improving blood circulation, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and reshaping your face.
“When using a gua sha tool, remember to apply your chosen facial oil beforehand so the tool glides smoothly over your skin.
“I also like that red light therapy devices are getting a lot of attention lately.
“It’s great for stimulating collagen production and calming inflammation.”
According to Healthline, red light therapy is “usually safe and painless,” but more research is needed to determine if it’s effective.
There is no consensus on how it affects people with cancer, so it’s best to talk to your doctor before trying any treatment.
Also, using it for more than 30 minutes at a time can cause burns and blisters.
