TikTok influencers share their top tips for living your best life. Tonight, you can try this completely free 6-second wellness hack.
When you’re ready to fall asleep, set your alarm clock and put your phone on airplane mode to regain your sanity. And let’s keep it that way.
Wellness expert Rebecca Lee explains: It’s in airplane mode, so you don’t have to check notifications. ”
Lee recommends using the first 30 minutes of your day without distractions to meditate, write in a journal, or spend time outdoors. She asserts, “You’re going to have a very different day than starting your day by looking at your phone first thing in the morning.”
Lee’s simple solution comes at a time when we are facing the negative effects of screen time, which are directly linked to the development of borderline personality traits and psychological distress.
Shockingly, the average American spends nearly two and a half hours per day on social media, and research shows that all that scrolling mimics the effects of substance abuse, leading to feelings of anxiety and loneliness. There is a possibility.
Additionally, there are reports that late-night phone use is associated with social jet lag and sleep disorders.
From a mental health perspective, Lee calls switching to airplane mode “life-changing,” reporting a significant improvement in her concentration and anxiety levels.

And she’s not the only one who has noticed positive changes.
Guardian columnist Hannah Jane Parkinson similarly praises airplane mode as an ideal way to unwind and relax. It allows us to pause in the constant chatter of life. It’s an analog deep breath. It’s a small switch that does the same thing for your brain as coming home, taking off your shoes, and sprawling on the couch. ”
Just as airplane mode can be a sweet reassurance that leads to a better night’s sleep and a brighter tomorrow, additional strategies like taking a walk after dinner or keeping a gratitude journal can help you wake up refreshed and start your day. It will help you prepare to overcome.
