She follows a strict skincare routine, which includes a $9.50 anti-aging product that she uses twice a week.
Taye Hansberry (@tayehansberry) admitted in her viral video that she’s on fire, but that’s not enough to keep her off the product.
And it seems to be paying off, as she looks decades younger.
People commenting on her post couldn’t believe she was almost in her 50s.
“47 years old?? You look like 26,” one person said in her video, a scene repeated by many, which went viral online.
She explained that her youthful, age-defying skin is thanks to well-chosen habits and products.
She washes her face first thing in the morning and exfoliates at least two to three times a week.
She uses The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution ($9.50), which is described as an “advanced exfoliating peel.”

“It burns a little bit, but I love it,” she said.
The Ordinary recommends using it as a face mask and rinsing off after cleansing and before serums, oils, suspensions, and creams.
Reviewers of this product vouched for its effectiveness.
“I’m 49 and have a few lines and an aged texture creeping in, but this overcomes that for me. I love it. Don’t change it,” one person said.
After removing the peel, we moved on to a facial massage.
Ms Tay rubbed her face with a gua sha, a smooth-bladed massage device used in traditional Chinese medicine.
She explained that this massage technique improves blood circulation and increases blood flow to the face.
Anti-aging tips and “superstar” products
Dr. Anatalia Moore is a general practitioner and dermatologist with over 11 years of clinical experience.
She told US Sun that her goal is to equip patients with the knowledge they need to take control of their skin journey.
She said the basics of a beauty routine are the same for all age groups and should include an effective cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF.
“More than products with active ingredients, moisturizers are my superstar,” she said.
“Finding a well-balanced moisturizer that provides the right kind of hydration, replaces and seals in natural oils can literally stabilize your skin.
“This on its own can instantly soothe fine lines and texture that are exacerbated by dryness.
“It also allows the skin to function as it should.
“Then, you’ll heal faster, especially with fewer lines and wrinkles, fewer flare-ups of dermatitis and rosacea, and potentially minor breakouts in the short term.”
Dr. Moore’s skin care basics:
- Obagi Hydrate and Hydrate Luxe Moisturizer, $78
- enough sleep
- balanced diet
- stress reduction
“It keeps my face toned and taut. I love it,” she said.
She said she prefers serums over creams when it comes to moisturizing her skin.
She uses Osea Essential Hydrating Oil, which costs $68.
But she also uses it on her eyebrows, so this product does double duty for her.
Tay’s video has been viewed more than 214,000 times and has received hundreds of comments.
“Wow, aren’t you using a smoothing filter? You’re blessed,” said one person.
“It’s my dream to grow old very gracefully,” said a second person.
“You’re great, young lady. I’m 48 years old and you’ll buy me some gua sha. [start] Use serum and exfoliation. Thank you for the inspiration,” a third person wrote.
