Although Caroline Phillippe doesn’t consider herself a healer, her life’s mission remains to help those who are suffering.
Although she trained as a nurse, she says her practice can provide relief from physical ailments, although her practice is not rooted in the traditional ideas of Western medicine. With expertise in Bioenergetic Synchronization Techniques (BEST), chakra alignment, and the cleansing of her ancestral energies, Philippe is, in her own words, an expert in energy medicine.
“I respect the body’s innate intelligence,” she says. “The body knows what it needs. The soul knows what it needs, and the subconscious mind has the answers.”
Another way to approach it, she explains, is that her role is to be an interpreter or translator of the body.
Philippe’s sessions often begin with what she calls a muscle test. This is a practice that allows you to communicate with your body and gather information from even the slightest movements. These are some of her best practices for which she is certified.
“Muscle testing is essential because at each step in the process, I tell the person where they are weak, what is weak, where there is disturbed energy, where there is stagnant energy. “Good, that’s obvious, because within five minutes I’m going to show that I’m strong now. That’s every step of the process and to me it’s important. We update their nervous system every little round. ”
Phillip considers BEST and muscle testing to be her gold standard and what she utilizes as a diagnostic tool for most of her clients.
“I do muscle testing in both the legs and arms. The term muscle testing is a bit misleading because you’re not testing the muscles. It’s an applied kinesiology term, and it’s not testing the neurological response. are actually observed.”
The process itself involves her noticing subtle changes.
“My feet are where I ask questions. I’m talking to my body. Tell me yes or no. Then my feet move a little bit.”
Philip likens this to a chiropractic adjustment that looks for physical changes that indicate a restoration of balance in the body, noting that this practice is often used by chiropractors.
But muscle testing isn’t the only tool in her kit. Philippe also uses a method called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as “tapping,” in which users tap specific areas of the body to relieve both physical and emotional pain. I will treat you. Influenced by Chinese medicine and acupuncture, the act of tapping areas known as meridians is said to balance energies and ease or reduce feelings of discomfort and inner turmoil.
“Sometimes you need a knife, sometimes you need a fork, sometimes you need a spoon, sometimes you need a spatula,” she says of the different practice methods.
While some may frown at the idea of energy working, Philip says quantum science is also beginning to understand the effects of energy on matter and, in turn, disease. She also explains that there is a proven link between her adverse childhood experiences and later illness. This proven connection has led to the understanding that experiences and energy stored in the body, or trauma, have a lasting impact on the body, even though they may not initially cause harm. Masu.
Philip does not look down on Western medicine. She believes that it is an important and essential resource that cannot be completely replaced in her own work, and that there is value in having a variety of tools at her disposal. Just as energy work cannot replace modern medicine, modern treatments cannot replace the healing done by energy-focused practices such as BEST and her EFT.
While training as a nurse in early adulthood, Philippe had no idea about energy therapy, which would eventually become her life’s work. She says she first learned of her idea of believing in energy when she read an article about the afterlife experiences of near-death experience survivors. Her first involvement with alternative medicine occurred more than 30 years ago when she was looking for a non-antibiotic treatment for her young son’s chronic ear infections. She found it in chiropractic care. Her son’s relief inspired her to explore the world of alternative medicine.
Philip believes that his work can satisfy both the rational and subconscious mind.
“Everything I do puts the body into a parasympathetic-dominant state where it can rest, digest, and heal,” she explains.
While many mental loads can be managed through talk therapy and counseling, she believes that energy work allows for deeper understanding without having to unravel or relive disturbing memories.
Although Philip may not directly heal, her work facilitates the body’s healing.
“Healing is established and begins in the sleep cycle…that’s where healing happens. Healing doesn’t happen in fight, flight, or freeze. The sad thing is that we’re chronically in that state. It’s overwhelming. “It’s a target,” she says, explaining that freezing is about procrastination, avoidance, and trauma.
When you are in a state of stress response, your body is greatly affected.
“Humans are designed to survive. That is, they are not designed to thrive. We should stay in a safe place to continue, thriving comes from the heart, it is magnetic. You can’t predict the future, but your brain is always trying to tell you it’s possible.”
Philip says that people cannot move forward in life until they feel safe, and through best practices such as BEST, chakra alignment, and ancestral work, her goal is to establish safety no matter who her clients are. He said his goal is to help people find the healing they need. teeth.
“It doesn’t matter who comes to my table. As long as they’re open to this, I believe we can absolutely do something that improves their lives.”
