New Delhi: In a recent interaction with Raj Shermani, Parineeti Chopra Chopra opened up about working with Imtiaz Ali, Diljit Dosanjh and AR Rahman in ‘Amar Singh Chamkira’. Parineeti spoke about her experience where she worked with three celebrities, how she gained weight for the film and more.

Parineeti, who played the role of Amar Jyot, Amar Singh Chamkira’s partner in the Netflix film, was highly appreciated by both the audience and critics.

When asked about the outstanding qualities of the people she worked with, Parineeti revealed what was special about Imtiaz Ali, AR Rahman and Diljit Dosanjh.

Parineeti Chopra talks about Imtiaz Ali

About Imtiaz Ali, she said the filmmaker is an emotionally evolved person. His special quality is that he expresses a deep understanding of human emotions to the extent that you can see what is going on in the minds of the characters on screen.

“Imtiaz Sir is one of the most emotionally evolved people.VOh, jis tarike se insano ko samajite hai, unki andal ki balekian hai, unki jo soch hai, unke jo emotion hai, jis tarike se vou unhe. Pakad pate hai, dekh pate hai, vo boat hai, deep level pe hota hai, sub log nahidek pate. And vo hai unki writing mein bhi hai, aur ushi tala se vo usko shoot bhi karte hai, islie apko character ke dimag main under. Kya chalu raha hai, vo dikta hai. Great quality high.(The way he understands people, their inner feelings, the depths he explores are also evident in his writing and the way he shoots. In fact, that’s how he expresses the psyche of his characters. That’s why you can see his inner workings (this is his most amazing quality).

Parineeti Chopra talks about AR Rahman

When asked about AR Rahman, Parineeti humbly said that she never thought in her life that she would be making her screen singing debut under the direction of a legend like AR Rahman.

Stating that AR Rahman does not know “that he is AR Rahman”, Parineeti also praised the Oscar-winning composer’s humility.

“Oh humble hai, it’s a simple hai, vo eyes come karte hai, jays unki peeri picture hai, vo ise kaam karte hai, vo eyes come karte hai . And the best thing about him is ki unka jo imtiaz sir ka, jo main soda se relationship deka hai, aisa nahi hai ki koi formality. Hai ya aap na nahi borsakte. agar aap kuch work nahi kar raha hai voh itni open conversation karte hai, itne humble hai sir, otherwise itne bade star ke sath aap ko lagta hai kya main ye keh sati huin ke nahi but they are so humble they say So, in the end, what we want is the best work, so please be honest with each other. That’s a great learning“He is a very humble and simple person. He works as if this is his first film and is very hardworking. The best thing about Rahman sir and Imtiaz Ali’s relationship is that there is no formality between them. They want the best for the movie, but they can’t share their opinions in front of legends like them. It does not mean. Ultimately they want the best work, which is why honesty is paramount.)

Parineeti Chopra talks about Amar Singh Chamkira co-star Diljit Dosanjh

Parineeti called Diljit Dosanjh ‘DD’ and shared that she has the closest bond with Dosanjh when it comes to spirituality as they are both very ‘spiritual’. ”Hamrogdono meditation karte hai boat, humrogdono yoga I believe in karte hai, hamrogdono boat hai spiritual hai. I was in bliss while shooting this movie, so even though the shooting was terrible, I was very happy. ” (We both meditate a lot and also believe in yoga. We went to the Gurudwara almost every day after shooting this film because of the blissful state we felt after shooting this film).

Parineeti added that apart from the emotional aspect, her off-camera and real-life interactions with Diljit were another reason why their bond was so strong. ”Bomje, common raga boat, diljit main, hamd no camera kesam ne boat, energetic hai, owl boat life, hai ham main, rekin real life, hum kafi quiet hai, aur kafi ham log softe hai saladin to vo boat similar. ”(Both Diljit and I look very energetic in front of the camera, but in real life we are both quiet and reflective).

When asked why Diljit Dosanjh was so furious, Parineeti said: touchwood aisa change na ho, Diljit Dosanjh is the atmosphere. ab unko samjh aagya hai ki voh kaun hai aur audience, kya chati hai and ek vada, great relationship, ho gya hai, audience, ke sat” (Diljit Dosanjh has the vibe. He now knows who he is and what the audience wants)
