The Simple Life app is an intermittent fasting and weight loss app designed to help you understand your habits and teach you how to build healthier habits.

This app is perfect for beginners and experienced fasters who want to eat healthy but don’t want to track calories. The simple design and features allow you to create a fasting schedule that works for you and adjust it as needed.

“Two important features stand out to me as a practitioner. First, customers have access to a comprehensive app that allows them to track fitness and nutrition, as well as fasting timers. Second, Simple Life allows users to: It gives you the flexibility to change your fasting times during the week to accommodate the natural fluctuations of your schedule and life,” says Bergholdt.

This app includes accountability, motivation, meal ideas, training plans, and education on healthy eating, exercise, and dietary psychology so you can learn how your mood and mental health affect your eating behavior .

This psychological element is essential for health apps because most people don’t eat purely out of hunger.

Who is the Simple Life app aimed at?

There are several traits and situations that benefit most from using the Simple Life app.

  • You are interested in fasting
  • You have experience running fast and want to stay on track
  • Looking for an easy-to-use app
  • Want to improve your eating habits but don’t want to track calories?
  • You need instant feedback on your diet and support from your coach
  • I want to improve my relationship with food
  • Tracking, meal and training ideas, guidance, and more all in one app!

Notably, the app says it’s customized for women. However, many men have stated that they have successfully utilized this feature, and it appears that this feature is applicable to both women and men.

How to use

Once you’ve downloaded the Simple Life app, there are a few simple steps you can take to prepare yourself to enjoy its benefits.

Step 1: Sign up To help the app identify your best plan and intermittent fasting schedule, start with a quick survey asking about:

  • biggest health goals
  • Year
  • height and weight
  • Current activity level
  • typical meal schedule
  • motivation

We’ll also ask you more specific questions about other areas you’d like to work on, such as brain health and focus, gut health, stress management, and mindful eating.

Step 2: Customized Fasting Plan Based on your answers, a customized path is generated with an estimated timeline to reach your goal. “[The app] It also provides a reasonable time frame to reach your goals,” says Lisa Andrews, RD, owner of Sound Bites Nutrition. It’s important to note that this timeline is just a prediction based on the average user, and individual results will vary.

Step 3: Walkthrough Once you’ve created your plan, review your key goals and expectations for using the app in a three-step process.

  • Let’s take responsibility. This step emphasizes the importance of daily journaling for accountability and knowledge about the habits that are holding you back.
  • to understand. This step builds your starting point by learning to take responsibility and track unhealthy eating and exercise patterns.
  • learn. This step takes advantage of all the educational features of the app and reminds you to log in regularly for instant feedback.

Once you complete these three steps, you can start using the app.

Using the app

There are four icons at the bottom of the Simple Life app.

  1. House: A homepage to record your meals, hydration, movement, and weight. This page also shows your daily goals, fasting schedule, and weight history.
  2. coach: Connect with Coach Avo, an AI-powered feature that lets you ask questions, find meal and snack ideas, and get instant feedback.
  3. explore: Education hub for apps. Includes training plans, videos, recipes, and educational content.
  4. progress: You can get a bird’s-eye view of your progress so far. You can find previously recorded meals, hydration, and workouts. You can also see your starting weight, current weight, and progress toward your goals.

Customize settings

You can customize app settings such as app appearance, notifications, and integration of other fitness and health apps.

As for notifications, they’re all turned on by default, letting you know when to start and stop eating, or when it’s time to hydrate. There are also other reminders to measure your weight and notify you of changes in weight. You can turn off any of these or keep some, like fasting reminders, active to suit your new schedule.

You have the option to choose your preferred measurement system, such as pounds or kilograms for weight, feet or centimeters for height.
