Eilish admitted in a recent interview that she suffers from bouts of depression. “I’m scared of people and I’m scared of the world. For someone like me, that’s just scary. Even if you’re not scared, it means you’re turned on and vulnerable.”

Billie Eilish portrayed what it’s like to live with depression. The Grammy Award winner spoke about her struggles with mental health in her recent interview. rolling stone Magazine published earlier this week. In it, the 22-year-old pop star talks about what it’s been like to have suffered from debilitating depression for many years, writing in his diary:I know I’m lucky/But I’m so unhappy. She also revealed that she suffered from severe depression last summer. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), depressive disorders (also known as depression) are common mental disorders that involve prolonged periods of depressed mood and loss of pleasure or interest in activities. Depression affects all aspects of life, including relationships with family, friends, and community.

“That was all. [more real] “I’ve never been a happy person in my life,” the singer said of her own struggles with mental health, adding, “I’ve never been a happy person. But I’ve never been a happy person. I can experience joy and laughter and find enjoyment in things, but I’m a depressed person.

‘everything I wanted‘ singer revealed in an interview that she has “suffered from severe depression” throughout her life. “What I’ve always had when something happens to my soul, or whatever, is, ‘Well, it’ll pass. It’ll come in waves, and it can be worse, and it can be better. ‘And that’s always brought me comfort, and this time I was literally like, ‘I don’t want it to get better.’ ”

Eilish said that in the midst of all this, she found refuge in her family. Her parents Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, her brother Phineas O’Connell, and her best friend Zoe Donahoe got her through this difficult time. The singer also confessed that she realized that even though she is a celebrity who enjoys immense fame, she needs to get out of her house more often.

Elsewhere in the interview, Eilish revealed that she had “reached a turning point” in her life. “There was a moment where I was like, ‘Oh my god, I haven’t had any fun in seven years.’ Really, I had these fantasies, because at 17 years old I was competing at the Grammys, and I was 5 years old. Has anyone ever had the experience of winning an award multiple times? But I realized that I haven’t been out for five years.

Eilish told the magazine that she “started going out more slowly,” starting with trips to the grocery store and then going to parties and concerts with friends. “I’m scared of people, I’m scared of the world. For someone like me, it’s just scary, and even if it’s not scary, it’s on, and Vulnerable and seen Or being photographed. But with all that in mind, I’ve been choosing to do something scarier. I bit the bullet and exist in the world for once. ”

Interestingly, the singer has chosen to be transparent about his own battle with depression, but confessed in an interview that he’s “not interested” in becoming a “celebrity spokesperson or advocate” for mental health. “I think it’s really weird when you’re in the middle of something and someone asks you to be a spokesperson for what you’re working on. I understand that it’s important. I understand that it’s an epidemic and that we need to do this.”But I don’t want to be a role model for depression…”
