Never one to shy away from a challenge or a funny innuendo, fitness entertainer Will Tennyson has captured the hearts of his 2.5 million YouTube subscribers ( and appetite). His efforts are few and far between.

Tennyson looks safe and sound in the kitchen. He prepares some of the most delicious “fit” treats to meet the protein needs of his fellow gym buddies and hookers.. Pick up your chef’s tools, pick up a dessert recipe, or YOLO all three! Enjoy guilt-free treats!

Author’s Note: Most, if not all, of these ingredients should be available at major grocery chain stores such as Walmart, Costco, Trader Joe’s, or their international equivalents.

At Tennyson, we recommend a high quality Vanilla Whey Casein Protein Powder for the best baking results. Avoid using whey-only powders.

Strawberry protein “Shorty” cake

“Sometimes when I’m in the bath, I feel kind of fruity, and I need to satisfy that urge.” Tennyson doesn’t like fruit in cake, but the rules say: There are always exceptions. “Can you put cheese in your margarita? I don’t think so.”

Thankfully, many of us will never share the same feelings as him, so don’t be offended either way.

Here’s what you need for a “short” cake:

dry ingredients

  • 2 cups oat flour (Tennyson blends 2 cups of oats in a food processor)
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup sweetener of your choice
  • whey casein protein powder 90g
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • pinch of salt

Note: We recommend using natural-based sweeteners such as stevia (no other ingredients added), erythritol, or crystallized forms of monk fruit.Avoid artificial sweeteners if possible This is because it may change the intended flavor.

wet ingredients

  • 140g egg white
  • 150g greek yogurt
  • 1.5 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (avoid raw Manuka or natural/cheap artificially flavored honey)
  • 1/4 cup milk/milk substitute

Mix all ingredients and preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

“You could kill someone with this batter,” Tennyson said, hinting at the consistency of the recipe as he poured the batter into a baking dish.

Disclaimer: This thick mixture can cause the pump to work.

Spread the mixture evenly on a plate or frying pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, depending on your oven. Once done, let it cool for a few minutes, then cut into desired pieces.

Tennison spreads a thin layer of sugar-free jam, tops it with fresh strawberries, and tops it with low-calorie coconut whipped cream from a can. Garnish with a few more berries of your choice.

“When you show up at a family’s crib for Easter brunch with this, their taste buds will be revived,” Mr. Tennyson said as he savored his culinary masterpiece. “I can see why it’s called shortcake, because once you take one bite, the rest don’t last long.”

Tennyson liked his concoction so much that he didn’t mind using it as a wedding cake. Perhaps an option for power couples?

protein french toast bagel

Shortcake may be something else, but after a night of fasting, a French toast bagel tastes different.

“In all seriousness, this is probably one of the best recipes I’ve ever made,” Tennyson said.

Here’s what you need for these sinful French toast bagels.

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • He emphasized that the 1/2 cup is self-rising flour “not regular flour.”
  • 1/2 cup whey casein protein powder
  • Feel like French toast with cinnamon
  • Raisins (optional)

topping

  • 1-2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • 1.5 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1-2 tablespoons brown sugar (Swerve)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Please follow the instructions below.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all bagel ingredients together to form a large dough ball. Add a little flour if necessary to prevent sticking.
  3. Place four smaller, equal-sized dough balls on a baking tray.
  4. Create donut holes using whatever you find convenient, such as a shot glass or rolling pin. Tip: Dip the edge of the shot glass in flour before drilling.
  5. Mix topping ingredients and pour over bagel.
  6. Place the bagels in the oven for 15-20 minutes, checking on them frequently.

Remove the bagel, let it sit for a few minutes, then spread with your favorite dairy-free or low-fat cream cheese. Welcome to Flavor City! Mr. Tennyson emphasized using whey casein protein powder for the perfect cake-like moist texture.

“If you made these bagels with whey or isolate instead of casein (protein powder), they would be drier than a towel.”

protein banana fritters

The final dessert is a recipe that can be made on the stovetop with only 4 ingredients, except for the coconut oil for frying. For banana fritters, you will need:

  • 2 large bananas, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons whey/casein protein powder
  • 3 tablespoons coconut flour
  • pinch of salt

Mix all the ingredients together and fry in a little coconut oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Professional chef tips: Add enough bananas. Otherwise, the coconut flour batter will crumble in the pan.

Finally, top your fritters with sugar-free ice cream, sugar-free syrup, and peanut butter powder (in that order) and you’re in taste heaven.

“This is like a Michelin-starred dessert,” the muscle chef proudly declared.
