Dr. Cassel was born and raised in Los Alamos and recently moved back to town after living in Albuquerque for 12 years. There she earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics and a doctorate in physical therapy while raising her three children. After her first pregnancy, she suffered from her own pelvic floor dysfunction, but like many of her peers, she accepted it as part of her motherhood.
After graduating from PT school, Dr. Cassel became pregnant with her second child and decided to put her knowledge to the test and was able to completely solve the problem even while pregnant. She is very dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting other women throughout her life so that they don’t have to accept these common issues as part of her life. It has become my passion. This led her to start her own private practice, The Balanced Momtality Women’s Health and Wellness, in Alamos, Los Angeles. There, she uses her holistic, whole-body approach to treat women of all ages, helping them heal their bodies from the inside out.
