Vitaco Heath, makers of Musashi, announced the launch of ATHENA Sports Nutrition, a new sports nutrition product specifically designed for female athletes.
Featuring protein powders, supplements and snacks, the Informed Sports Certified Series has been dedicated to helping female athletes achieve their performance levels.
ATHENA Sports Nutrition says it is committed to promoting everything it takes to improve women’s sports performance.
In a recent launch announcement, Vitaco said its Athena products are created differently to meet the biological needs of female athletes.
“This product range focuses on aligning the biological needs, lifestyle and training demands of female athletes, providing women with unique performance nutritional support,” said Senior Sports Dietitian at ATHENA Sports Nutrition Sally Walker said.
Three female elite athletes have been selected as ATHENA Ambassadors.
- Kyla Cooney Cross, soccer player.
- Kim Ravaillion, netballer and;
- Emma Clarke, basketball player
The Athena product range includes protein powder products supplements and protein bars.
The range is currently available from Chemist Warehouse, online at Athena Nutrition, and in select Kohl’s products starting in May.
