FORT WAYNE — April 18 Parkview Health has been named a Best Company in Wellness by the National Association for Business Resources for the sixth time.
The news release states that Parkview is one of 11 companies from across the country selected in the first round of selection in 2024.
“Taking care of our colleagues is important so that they can take care of our patients,” Kristen Ruble, Wellbeing Manager at Parkview Health, said in the release. “We provide our more than 16,000 colleagues with programs that support their physical and mental health so they can stay fully engaged at work and give their all to the people they serve and care for every day. Parkview’s My Well-Being program is a health and lifestyle program to help people improve their diet, become more active, physical activity challenges and intramural sports opportunities, and to measure mental health. The companies that won America’s Best Companies in Wellness were evaluated through ratings created and maintained by leading wellness research companies. Each entry was statistically examined for quantitative and qualitative data. Each study was scored on a point system based on criteria to benchmark and improve the effectiveness of wellness programs. These include outcomes, analytics, tracking, participation and incentives, benefits and programs, leadership, employee opinion, culture and environment.
