Somehow, I completely missed the release of Netflix’s latest reality competition series. big flower fight. It’s pinned as ‘The Great British Bake Off’, but there will be plants, so count me in!
So big flower fight, 10 florists, sculptors and garden designers from around the world push their talents to the limit, creating floral installations that are extravagant as hell. The host of the program is vic reeves and natasia demetriou. In each episode, contestants compete in themed challenges to avoid elimination.Their fate in the contest is in the hands of the head judge Kristen Griffith Vanderyacht – strong names – and a few guest judges. The winners will have their sculptures exhibited at the Royal Botanic Gardens in London.
It definitely looks like the kind of content you’d watch on a Saturday morning over a hot cuppa. I’ve only seen the trailer so far, but this tweet alone makes me want to watch it right away.
“Angry Floral Club”.
From now on, I’m going to dedicate my life to this angry flower crab from the Big Flower Fight. pic.twitter.com/UN6T2sqbTn

If you think I didn’t gasp when I opened Netflix and saw The Big Flower Fight (a new contest about “garden sculpture”), you’re wrong.

Has anyone seen The Big Flower Fight on Netflix? Henk and Jan’s costumes become more and more out-of-the-box as the season progresses. They are amazing artists and the things they design have breathtaking beauty and range. My personal style is reminiscent of a combination of 80s club kids and steampunk. pic.twitter.com/skVDeLOSWt

A quick thank you post for all the costumes worn by the brilliant @Natasia1andonly in the first series of Big Flower Fight! Absolutely beautiful! pic.twitter.com/MbHllYAbvG

Not to be dramatic, but I’ll defend Jim and Ralph in “The Big Flower Fight.” pic.twitter.com/RrBMJpOBDe

Ryan and Andrew are great, but my absolute favorite is #Big Flower Fight Father and son Ralph and Jim. They worked together wonderfully throughout the series and progressed by leaps and bounds. Everyone should have a father like Ralph.

Protect Jim and Ralph from the Big Flower battle at all costs.

I don’t understand why people aren’t talking about Netflix’s Big Flower Fight (which is basically a fun GBBO rip-off with flowers added) and the fact that the head judge is named…
Kristen Griffith Vanderyacht.

big flower fight – all eight episodes – are currently streaming on Netflix.
(95% match on Netflix, which says it all. I’m so mad I didn’t listen to this sooner.)
You know what that reminds me of? overwhelmed. If you haven’t seen the series yet, it’s pretty much the same thing, except the contestants are glass blowers. In each episode, talented contestants compete to make a comeback and create the strangest and most extraordinary works of art. It’s great viewing – something you’ll want to binge once and then play in the background. That’s the content.
