Plan now for Texarkana’s “Wellness Remix” to be released on April 30th

Texarkana, Texas, in collaboration with Texas A&M University Texarkana and Texarkana Healthcare Marketing Professionals, is hosting an event called “Wellness Remix: Total Health and Wellness Expo.”

The expo, scheduled for Tuesday, April 30th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Texarkana Convention Center, will provide valuable resources and tips to promote good health and lead healthier lives for all ages. is intended to provide.

The event will feature health care experts, financial advice, fitness insights, spiritual guidance, Medicare and Social Security information, fraud prevention tips, and more. Workshops and various vendors will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn and explore ways to improve their health.

With over 100 participating vendors, businesses and organizations have a platform to showcase their services and products that contribute to health and wellness. Justin Sutton, president of Texarkana Healthcare Marketing Professionals, believes these resources will positively impact communities by improving access to health care.

This event is free to all and provides parents with financial planning, Medicare information, and health planning guidance for high school students. Christy Kilgore from the Department of Health highlights the benefits of working with diverse organizations to reach more people and improve community well-being.

Expert-led workshops will cover topics such as financial literacy, nutrition, Medicare benefits, fraud prevention, and understanding the FAFSA for college planning.
