This up-and-coming Benjamin Button reveals his secrets.
A 61-year-old man who boasts his biological age is just under 38 years old has revealed how he hacked the aging process.
Michigan native Dave Pascoe is a former network security engineer and “full-time biohacker” dedicated to turning back the genetic clock.
The age-defying single man shares his elaborate exercise and diet plans on his website, claiming he takes a whopping 158 supplements a day.
“I don’t want my healthy lifespan to end before my lifespan,” Pasco declared. “My goal is to make them as equal as possible. My expectation is that I can live in great health until at least 95 years old…even if I don’t get much beyond 110 years old, if God It is desired.”
Pascoe says she doesn’t set an alarm clock and sleeps until she wakes up naturally, which is usually before sunrise.
The biohacker then begins a thorough morning routine, starting with 15 minutes of floor stretching and 5 minutes on the mini trampoline.
Then, after brushing his teeth and scraping his tongue, he waited an hour before taking 82 morning supplements, including calcium glucarate and vitamin D3 tablets.
Pascoe then seeks sunlight by going outside and briskly walking or running.
Additional exercises are also scheduled, with the biohacker completing a strenuous P90X workout that focuses on resistance and weight training.
Then relax with a schwitz in the sauna or up to 45 minutes of meditation.
To fuel his body, the zodiac sign consumes a training supplement shake before his breakfast, which consists of one green banana and a chia nut berry bowl.
But Pascoe is flexible with his routine, saying: Having good structure and discipline is great, but some of the best things in life happen spontaneously. ”
“‘Me time’ is very important to me, so I schedule it that way, but I’m not going to miss an opportunity to spend quality time with other people.” As a single man who lives alone, I do it every time. , trade your workouts, saunas, and biohacks for quality time connected. You won’t die if you miss a few daily routines. ”
For the rest of the day, Pascoe said he barely eats lunch. Instead, we will have dinner from 3pm to 5pm.
Michiganders always choose organic, grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, or wild-caught fish.
He also eats plenty of colorful vegetables and regularly adds garlic, herbs, and sauerkraut to his meals.
Interestingly, Pascoe doesn’t count calories. “For the most part, by limiting simple carbohydrates, I’m eating as much as I want without gaining weight or obviously speeding up my aging process.”
Like fellow famous biohacker Brian Johnson, Pascoe uses blue light-blocking glasses to reduce light exposure when watching TV or using a tablet.
Before bed, he does balance and flexibility exercises, and also takes dozens of supplements (his full list is here).
Pascoe maintains her youthful appearance by applying a serum or cream before taking two scoops of collagen peptides.
Sleep comes, but Pascoe prays and makes a list of daily blessings in his head.
The retiree says his interest in biohacking isn’t about big bucks, as he only spends $30,000 a year on all his supplements and skin care products.
That’s far less than Mr. Johnson, who recently made headlines for saying he spends $2 million a year on the pursuits of youth.
Johnson, 46, boasts that he has the heart of a 37-year-old, the skin of a 28-year-old, and the lung capacity and strength of an 18-year-old.
