JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Participants can now register for the Hope for the Warriors Memorial Day 30×30 Wellness Challenge hosted by Owens & Miner.
This virtual, free wellness challenge begins May 1 and runs through May 30, focusing on an individual’s physical and mental health while honoring and remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving. I’m guessing.
This free challenge is designed to get people moving by incorporating a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity of any type for 30 consecutive days to demonstrate dedication and support to the military community. All activities count, including walking, running, hiking, swimming, lifting, and dancing.
Participants are encouraged to register individually or as a team for the free 30-day fitness challenge at hopeforthewarriors.org. Participants can record their daily activities and keep track of their challenge totals through her website. Individual fundraising incentive prizes start at $100, followed by $250, $500, and $1,000.
Participants will receive weekly emails designed to motivate, inspire, and share ideas to stay healthy. Additionally, when you sign up for the 30×30 Challenge, you’ll receive access to Hope For The Warriors’ library of sports and recreation resources. This library includes exercise demonstrations, healthy eating tips, and mindfulness activities.
“The Hope for the Warriors Memorial Day 30×30 Wellness Challenge is a great way to start or enhance your fitness journey,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and president of the nonprofit organization. says. “No matter where you are, this challenge is a great reminder to honor those currently serving, those who have served, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.”
