A BEAUTY fan gave her advice on keeping her skin toned for years.
She said that now, at 39 years old, she shows few signs of aging and no visible wrinkles.
A Redditor asked a skincare question in a thread on the social media platform.
“As frustrating as it may sound, we are all getting older. We have to fight for our beauty,” she wrote.
“I recently turned 37 and never thought the problems of aging would affect me.”
She asked other Redditors if they had any effective advice for staying young.
young and beautiful
One 39-year-old Redditor said he nailed his routine.
“I don’t have any wrinkles, very few fine lines. I’m really happy with the way my skin looks now,” she said.
“I wear sunscreen religiously,” she said.
“Every day, even if you don’t leave your house. It helps prevent future damage, but it doesn’t help undo existing damage.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios is available on Amazon for $38.99.
She also mentioned the duo she regularly goes without.
“Skinceuticals CE Ferulic” [in the] Morning and evening discoloration protection,” she said.
“Although it was expensive, I was so impressed with its effects on pigmentation that I now have to buy it until I die.”
Skinceuticals CE Ferulic is available from Dermstore for $182. Also available is Skinceuticals Discoloration Defense for $110.
She said her hacks work, but don’t expect instant gratification.
“Results don’t come overnight,” she said.
“Stick to the routine for a few months and see how it goes.
“We saw results in four weeks with vitamin C and about 12 weeks with retinol,” she added.
How to use retinol
The 39-year-old also detailed how to use retinol without regrets.
“Start slow and increase your intake, especially retinol,” she said.
“At first I used retinol every other night for two weeks, but I still had some redness.

Anti-aging tips and “superstar” products
Dr. Anatalia Moore is a general practitioner and dermatologist with over 11 years of clinical experience.
She told US Sun that her goal is to equip patients with the knowledge they need to take control of their skin journey.
She said the basics of a beauty routine are the same at any age and should include an effective cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF.
“More than products with active ingredients, moisturizers are my superstar,” she said.
“Finding a well-balanced moisturizer that provides the right kind of hydration, replaces and seals in natural oils can literally stabilize your skin.
“This on its own can instantly soothe fine lines and texture that are exacerbated by dryness.
“It also allows the skin to function as it should.
“This will help you heal faster, especially with fewer lines and wrinkles, fewer flare-ups of dermatitis and rosacea, and less chance of getting mild breakouts in the short term.”
